The Brunei Workplace Safety and Health Order 2009 (as amended) states that every employer shall ensure, that a person at work has adequate instruction, information, training and supervision, as is necessary for him to perform his work.It further requires, that every person at work, to co-operate with his employer or principal and any other person to such extent as will enable his employer, principal or the other person, as the case may be, to comply with the Order.The Brunei Workplace Safety and Health (Construction) Regulations 2014, state that it is the duty of every employer of any person who carries out manual work in a worksite, has received adequate safety and health training for the purpose of familiarizing the person with the hazards associated with such work and the precautions to be observed.CITB “Construction Industry Training Board” have ceased global accreditation since the end of 2016 2016. This matter was raised as a concern to the Authority.MEMI HSE wishes to work with Industry and the recognized training providers for scaffolding, in ensuring that existing and new entrants considering the scaffolding profession, are not hindered by this restriction in accreditation.The identified training providers will continue to provide scaffolding training using the CITB methodology and standard, and ensure, that all candidates are suitably certified by the respective training providers.# Scaffolding @ ATDC SDN BHD (Adinin Training and Development Centre) # Part A, B and C (Complex) # Refresher Course
