ATDC SDN BHD staff has attended a productive three-day Fire Marshall Training conducted by Brunei’s Fire and Rescue Department last 26-28 June. The first two days of training was at the premises of ATDC SDN BHD in Sungai Bera and the last day was held at the vicinity of Jabatan Bomba in Kuala Belait.
It was a rigid and tough exercise according to the participants for they have to do the practical aspects of fire fighting and evacuation techniques. They were trained on how to give emergency response by doing the proper planning in case there is an incident of fire. Participants were also exposed to some fire fighting equipment and learned how to suppress fire and perform rescues to protect lives, property and environment.
ATDC SDN BHD has now at least thirteen competent Fire Marshall who are ready to attend to any incident caused by fire. All ATDC SDN BHD participants had passed the theoretical and practical aspects of the training and went home carrying Brunei’s Fire and Rescue Department’s mission: “Reducing the incidence and consequence of fire and to provide a professional response to other emergencies.”
