Dr Rodman Tan
While there are examples of increased safety focus and improvements in every organization, we continue to experience high potential incidents at our worksites with multiple people being injured and lives affected. With these, Managers, Directors, HSSE experts and Company owners had flocked to Brunei Shell Recreation Club (BSRC), Cenderawasih Ballroom to gather for the final Construction Health and Safety Network (CHSEN) Director’s Day for 2018 last 29th of November. This is to look ahead at the safety challenges that all companies will be facing next year. Further, a formation of a workgroup on quality and complacency was also tackled. There was an obvious success of the sharing session facilitated by Dr Rodman (ATDC) and Zhao (Brunei Shell) where everyone has eagerly agreed that the culture of sharing should be rekindled as it was the reason why CHSEN has been formed.
CHSEN was established to primarily foster collaboration on safety amongst BSP and its business partners with ATDC as one of its founder.
